Hi Everyone,
Hope that everything is going well, we are doing well
in London!
Our transfers were pretty interesting. Elder D
went to Windsor, Elder D M went to Brazil (finished his mission and went home)
and I kind-of stayed in London. My new companion is Elder J, great guy, he's a
farm boy from Idaho. We have switched areas, so we left YSA work and are now in
the London 3rd ward, a very, very different dynamic. Very rich communities and
families, but we're adjusting (Elder J just came from YSA work in Oshawa).
Our last week of the transfer was a good one.
Elder D M was sad to leave, but we accomplished a lot of good things. One young
family is now working towards being married and baptized in June in the 1st
ward, so that's pretty exciting. In YSA an investigator fell out of the sky
(actually he fell out of Kitchener) and into church on Sunday, he's a good guy
and it was nice to see a tender mercy of the Lord right before leaving the
area, he should do really well there, the new companionship in YSA is
sisters and they’re very good so we should see some good things there!
Honestly not a ton to report on. I love being a
missionary. This is the Lord's work and we are all privileged to be a part of
it, if we choose to be. "many are called, but few are chosen".
Love you all and hope that each of you choose to be a force for good and for
God this week:) Lots of love,
Elder Gedlaman
